No grid connection or not enough power? This is the solution at Porsche Center Brabant

The realization of Porsche Center Brabant (part of PGZ B.V.) stalled due to an insufficient power connection. It was insufficient for the workshop, showroom and charging points. Upgrading the connection was not possible. Thanks to a smart battery solution, that problem is now solved!
The solution: a sustainable DENS battery
The new Porsche Center, offers a revolutionary showroom experience. But behind the scenes, energy demand was a huge obstacle. A larger power connection proved impossible, jeopardizing the realization of premises in Oisterwijk. A solution was found in a DENS gridhub battery system.
Gridhub, stationary battery system, for managing energy flows
A gridhub is a smart solution for distributing and managing energy within a network. It functions as a hub where different energy sources, such as solar and wind power, battery storage and traditional power connections, come together and are efficiently distributed to users.
Through smart technologies and advanced energy management, a grid hub ensures that businesses and locations with limited power connections can still operate optimally. This is especially relevant in grid-congested areas, where the power grid is under great pressure and expansions are not immediately possible. A grid hub allows companies to optimize their energy consumption, reduce peak loads and achieve more sustainable operations.
Smart energy storage for continuity
Meanwhile, Porsche has implemented an innovative DENS powerhub battery system. This system charges at night, when there is less pressure on the power grid. During the day, the battery pack, in combination with PV charging, supplies the showroom and workshop with sustainable energy. This keeps Porsche Center Brabant running on largely self-generated power, without depending on a larger grid connection.
This smart energy management system is an inspiring example of how grid congestion can be tackled with innovative battery solutions and sustainable technology.
