What will you do as a Junior Purchaser at DENS?

• Processing purchase orders – you will ensure the creation and processing of purchase orders, place orders at suppliers and check order confirmations to ensure that everything is on time and as agreed;
• Maintain supplier contact – you will be in contact with suppliers, request status updates and monitor delivery times and agreements;
• Coordinate with internal departments – you interact daily with colleagues from production, warehouse and engineering to ensure proper coordination of procurement planning;
• Contribute to improvement and growth – do you see things that can be done better or smarter? Then together we would like to see how we can improve processes so that we can move forward (even better) as a team and as an organisation;
• Help building a growing organisation – you are part of a committed team within a company that is growing and developing rapidly. Your contribution matters: you help take a step forward every day, in your role, your responsibilities and your career.

What is important for us?

• Interest in sustainability and technology;
• You have a background in business administration, (technical) business administration or something similar is nice to have, but not a must;
• No experience in any technical or procurement field? No problem: if you have the drive to delve into this, we are open to it;
• You will start with administrative tasks to learn the basics. If this goes well, we will expand the range of tasks in consultation;
• You see what is needed and take action, even if it is beyond your immediate tasks;
• You are enterprising, energetic and like to think about possible improvements;
• You are a recent graduate or have a maximum of 1 years of work experience;
• You are fluent in Dutch and English;
• Availability of 32 to 40 hours per week, with full-time being our preference.
