What will you do as an IT Engineer at DENS?

As an IT Engineer, you ensure that our colleagues can rely on a secure and stable IT environment. You work on the management and further development of our infrastructure, support users, and contribute to projects that prepare the organization for the future.

Your tasks will include:

• Manage and optimize IT systems, networks, and infrastructure;
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, hardware, and software;
• Monitor systems and resolve outages and incidents;
• Contribute to IT projects (such as implementations or migrations);
• Ensure security, backups, and updates are properly maintained;
• Document IT processes and systems;
• Provide IT support to colleagues.

What is important for us?

• You have at least a completed MBO level 4 education in the field of ICT;
• You have a professional command of both spoken and written Dutch and English;
• You have experience with Windows (Server) operating systems, virtualization, and Microsoft 365 management;
• Basic knowledge of networks such as switching, routing, and firewalls;
• You work independently, remain calm under pressure, and think on your feet;
• You communicate clearly and are service-oriented;
• You have technical insight, good analytical skills, and work in a structured manner;
• Availability of 32 to 40 hours per week, with full-time being our preference.
