Electrical Engineer

What will you do as an Electrical Engineer at DENS?

• Designing and developing – electrical systems and components that contribute to sustainable energy solutions;
• Testing and validating – designing test setups and ensuring everything works as intended;
• Power electronics & grid systems – working with high-voltage systems, transformers, and EMC filtering to ensure constant connectivity;
• Safety first  – you take current standards and regulations into account and ensure safe working conditions;
• Collaborating & switching gears – working across departments, with suppliers, and fellow engineers.

What is important for us?

• Academic working and thinking level (WO), preferably in Electrical Engineering; 
• Experience with power electronics and/or HV energy storage systems (a plus); 
• Knowledge of grid-connected systems, transformers, EMC filtering (a plus); 
• Familiarity with SolidWorks (a plus); 
• You take initiative and work independently; 
• You’re aware of applicable safety standards (a plus); 
• You speak and write both Dutch and English.
