Proto Builder

As a Prototype Builder at DENS, you are the technician who brings our new energy systems to life first. You will work with R&D and the engineering team on systems that have never been built before. Whether it concerns mechanical frames, power electronics, battery systems, or cooling systems, you will build, identify issues, communicate, and think ahead. You will not work according to a standard approach, but will deliver customized solutions that suit the prototype, the situation, and the technical challenge.

‍Thijs, Teamlead HOT Team – Once a strategic management student with an office job, Thijs found his calling in engineering. His adventure began with building his own house, which fueled his passion for electrical engineering. After a conscious decision to retrain (BBL Elektrotechniek) and a chance encounter with DENS, he spontaneously called them. “The very next day I was able to drop by. That’s typical DENS: fast respons and immediate confidence.”

‍Yoshi, Chief Technology Innovation Officer – Started his journey at DENS as a mechanical engineering student at TU Eindhoven. What started as a student project at Team FAST grew into his career at DENS. After his bachelor he combined his master with a part-time job at DENS, where flexible working hours were crucial. Yoshi demonstrates that DENS is not only about technical innovation, but more importantly about the people who make it possible. “I am part of DENS and DENS is part of me.”
