What will you do as a/an Prototype Builder at DENS?

In this role, you will build and test unique prototypes that form the basis for our future products. Your tasks will include:

• Building and testing new (sub)systems – you will assemble systems that have never been built before and perform the initial functional tests;
• Collaborating with engineering – you will work closely with engineers to identify and resolve design, safety, cost, and construction issues at an early stage;
• Developing temporary solutions – you devise and implement temporary mechanical and electrical solutions that help to make future products better, safer, and more efficient;
• Documenting and recording – you record findings and temporary solutions so that engineering and production can continue with them;

What is important for us?

• You have at least a Mbo level 3 or 4 education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or demonstrable relevant experience;
• You enjoy working on innovative and future-oriented solutions;
• You are interested in both mechanical and electronic components;
• Experience with electrical installations is an advantage;
• You work in a safety-conscious manner and can tackle technical challenges independently;
• You interact easily with different departments and work closely with engineering;
• You can cope well with a dynamic environment in which priorities can change;
• You have a professional command of Dutch and English;
• You are available for at least 32 hours per week.
