What will you do as a Purchaser at DENS?

• Focus on manufactured parts – you mainly focus on the purchase of specific manufactured parts – from steel to rubber – in which steel plays the main role;
• From design to production – you are an important link in the process from the design table to the production floor. You arrange everything from A to Z so that the process runs smoothly;
• Negotiate like a pro – you build strong relationships with our suppliers and secure the best deals;
• Maintaining relationships – you know exactly who to call to get everything done on time and as agreed, and you always engage proactively with suppliers;
• The hub of the wheel – our parts are our own design, so you have a lot of contact with different departments to know exactly what is needed to make the production process run smoothly and to buy the right parts;
• Anticipate and come up with alternatives – you know what’s going on and always think ahead. Are you missing something? Then you proactively look for alternatives to ensure that everything is on the shop floor on time;
• Balancing costs and quality – you monitor costs without compromising on quality; every part meets our standards.

What is important for us?

• Passion for sustainability and technology;
• Are you technically skilled in fabrication parts such as steel? Then that’s a big plus;
• No purchasing experience? No problem! We will be happy to teach you the tricks of the trade;
• Experience with Exact? That is a plus;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing;
• Preferably available for at least 32 hours;
• We are looking for someone who gets energy from cooperation, easily switches between departments and builds strong relationships, both inside and outside the company.
