The energy transition makes it increasingly complex for our customers to supply energy where it is needed, e.g. on construction sites. We provide emission-free solutions for small commercial to very large industrial applications. The installations we supply are therefore often tailored to the specific energy needs of our customers. In order to be able to inform them as well as possible about our sustainable techniques regarding emission-free energy solutions, we are looking for a Sales Engineer. In this position, you will be the point of contact for technical questions from new and existing customers and you will help to find the best solution for each specific situation. This makes you the business card of our organization.

DENS is committed to facilitating the transition from fossil fuels to clean energy. To achieve this, DENS develops technology that overcomes barriers to the storage and transportation of hydrogen. Hydrozine is a safe and efficient liquid hydrogen carrier that makes it easy to store and transport hydrogen in tank trucks to locations worldwide. Once on-site, the patented technology extracts hydrogen (dehydrogenation), making it usable in fuel cell vehicles or to generate electricity for charging electric vehicle and machinery batteries.

Additionally, DENS develops Powerhubs (battery systems). The DENS Powerhub is a high-tech battery system designed for on/off-grid applications, energy storage, and/or rapid charging of vehicles or equipment. The DENS Powerhub stands out in terms of technology, performance, safety, and energy density.

DENS' solutions help reduce emissions from infrastructure, agriculture, mining, construction, and other industries by decreasing the reliance on diesel-powered heavy vehicles and machinery.

In short, the content of the job includes:

The tasks below are just an indication of what you can expect as an inside sales engineer. How you want to perform your job is largely up to you. You get a lot of freedom, responsibility and you set your own priorities. For example, you will independently manage assigned customers and work efficiently with the help of a personal work schedule.

  • Advising customers on the purchase of our complex technical products. Both by phone and email;
  • Determining what is a targeted solution for what the customer needs;
  • Acquiring new customers and following up on quotations or customers who have expressed interest;
  • The preparation and follow-up of quotations;
  • You see opportunities in the market and approach potential customers proactively;
  • Building and maintaining a customer network.


You will bring:

  • You have an MBO working and thinking level;
  • A completed education in electrical engineering;
  • You are available full-time;
  • You are customer friendly, result oriented and have strong communication and social skills;
  • You have knowledge of electrical engineering;
  • You have experience in a similar position;
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing.
