Third Powerhub for Van der Zanden - Moergestel
DENS has successfully delivered the third Powerhub battery, to Aannemingsbedrijf Van der Zanden in Moergestel. This advanced mobile 20ft battery system, equipped with a hooklift, delivers more power and supports Van der Zanden's sustainable ambitions within their VDZ Electric program.
The latest Powerhub has an impressive capacity of 1595 kWh and offers different configurations compared to previous models. With a charging capacity of 600 kVA – double the 300 kVA versions previously supplied – Van der Zanden can not only charge equipment faster, but also support the power of heavier machines such as HDD drills. In addition, the system is equipped with a 300 kW charging station, which ensures faster and more efficient energy supply on the construction site.
Another key innovation in this Powerhub is the addition of a user-friendly HMI with dual input and output powerlock sets, making the system simple and flexible to use. The Powerhub also features a CCS2 inlet, which allows it to be charged at any standard charging station, significantly increasing ease of use.
In addition to its powerful specifications, the Powerhub offers a number of important advantages for use on the construction site. Thanks to its mobile flat rack design, the Powerhub can be placed in any location within a minute with a hooklift truck, ensuring maximum flexibility. The system is equipped with remote monitoring, so users can continuously monitor its performance. In addition, the Powerhub is modular and is specifically composed according to the customer's wishes, making every installation custom-made. With both development and production in the Netherlands, DENS guarantees high quality and reliability, tailored to every situation.
The current Powerhub battery systems supplied to Van der Zanden each had an impressive capacity of 2.3 MW. These systems were the first Powerhubs to be installed in the Netherlands. This third Powerhub fits in seamlessly with Van der Zanden's vision to continue innovating with sustainable energy solutions. These powerful battery systems allow the company to further reduce their CO2 emissions and remain at the forefront of the electrification of equipment within the infrastructure and agricultural engineering sector.
